Art is Not A Scam

Lanzarote may be just a small island but its beauty is incomparable. It used to be that fishing was the main economic activity since most of the villages were considered it as the primary source of income. It was the livelihood of the majority of the people in the island. Things changed though when tourism started to flourish and many tourists would stay for several days or weeks. There was a need to provide them with accommodation and this was done through the Lanzarote villas which emerged in the various areas in the island. Other than the villas which are mostly constructed in exclusive places, there were also apartments which came out. In some areas, the policies concerning the construction of such buildings were more lax unlike in Puerto de Carmen. The real estate development was under more limitations. There were regulations regarding the maximum number of levels and though there were some exemptions, these are not frequent.

There were categories which were used to classify the villas and apartments and these are done according to the location. Some of the Villas in Lanzarote were considered to be residential and as such the owners may still have it leased, there are limitations in terms of activities. The property owners have to make the arrangements directly with those who are going to rent the villa or the apartment. The Spanish Law of Horizontal division has authority over the residential sites. The ones on the tourist areas are under the Canarian Law.
